i bought this camera 6 months ago and love it. i got because i like to go hiking and other adventures that might damage the camera or get it wet and i saw this on CES 2010 and had to get it. so far ive had no problems and i get the best high quality pictures and HD video. the under water video is great. i got great vid of my cousins girl underwater and i compare it to seeing it on tv and no blurriness.
the only thing i dont like on the camera are the battery life is bad, it uses the rechargeable card type and after having to charge over and over i had to come back on here 2 weeks later to buy 3 extra batteries. HD vid drains it fast. a small annoyance but what this camera does its not that bad.
every one that sees this camera they are jealous and want it so i highly recommend this to every one. i havent dropped this camera and i dont want to try, camera is to good for that,

Mustek PF-L100 Keychain Photo Viewer Review
This works well but you must optimize your photos or they will look horrid.
You do not have to go to the lengths I did but I got really crisp images that are easy to see as my result.
If you have Photoshop Elements or something similar you can do this easily.
Here is what I did in Photoshop CS3 –
I took the full version and went to Image–> Image Size to change it from 2000 pixels wide .
to 1000. I did this again from 1000 to 600 (yes, there is a reason to not go from 2000 to 600 in one shot).
I then adjusted the photo (try Auto Levels if your program supports it. You might also want to adjust the contrast up a bit). To make the person stand out better in such a tiny display I “painted” the background darker.
I then sized it down from 600 to 400 and 400 to 200. I set my crop tool to be 96px wide and 64px tall.
All images should be landscape (Portrait orientation gets cropped) so some were rotated 90 degrees counter-clock wise.
I saved the file under a different name (DO NOT forget to do that) and used a_name.jpg, b_name.jpg as my naming convention to control the order of the shots in the display.
The end result was really cute! I ended up getting one for myself.

I think this is a nice camera for the price. I wish it was a little better for taking pictures with movement but for other pictures it does a nice job. I do believe the next camera I purchase will have better zoom for sports but this one does an ok job with that as well. I was wanting a camera I could carry in my purse and this one is good for that although it is a little thicker than some. I would recommend this camera for general picture taking as those pics turn out great. All in all a good purchase.

It feels more like a cheap toy, but so it far has functioned fairly well, and mechanically it is pretty easy to use…My main problem is while it is easy to move between the video, camera and playback options the screen is very subject to glare and it is often diffcult to see what option the camera is set to, or what is actaully in the viewfinder when outdoors in the sunlight. That being said, you get what you pay for, and I actually think (since the the cost of this product is so cheap) that this product provides more than one would expect for the cost.

Canon PowerShot G11 10MP Digital Camera with 5x Wide Angle Optical Stabilized Zoom and 2.8-inch articulating LCD Review
I bought this as a carry around camera instead of my dsl. My main complaint is there is no way to hold it with out pressing unintended buttons, i am changing settings all the time. I use it in the AV mode most of the time and it performs pretty well. Noise is a problem for me anything above 200 iso unless it is a bright situation and I just need a faster shutter speed. The auto WB is decent but can be fooled in tricky lighting. I don’t do video so I will pass on this. I find myself wanting a little more reach in the telephoto end but I wanted the wide-angle. I have taken some very good photos with this camera but I am thinking I might of went with a cheaper real pocket camera if I had to do it again. This is my cons list but I would still rate this as 4 stars because it lives up to most of the claims. Make an informed choice and if the G11 is on your short list don’t be afraid to buy it.

These batteries are great! They last 3 to 4 times as long as alkaline batteries in my Olympus C-730 digital camera and about twice as long as the individual AA Lithium batteries. They are pricy but you do get your money’s worth. In the long run they are cheaper than buying either individual alkaline or lithium AA’s. Go for it.
